Hi there, Yes it’s probably related if the PayPal Instant Payment Notifications are not reaching your site, those actually trigger the notification emails. The first thing to check is you make sure that manually sending a notification via the Event > Registrations page works. If that works, then that’s a good indication there’s something not quite right with the automatic notification trigger, and you can focus on troubleshooting the PayPal IPN by stepping through this checklist: https://eventespresso.com/wiki/how-to-set-up-paypal-ipn/#troubleshooting |

Hmmmm, I deleted the gateway files in uploads/espresso/…my thinking is that it will revert to default templates. So far, this seems to have done the trick. I’ll keep an eye on it this week. Hopefully all is well now. |

Another online booking today. Only way i knew they had booked is the paypal payment notification email. No confirmation email sent to me (admin) from EE on my website. |

I checked your site and this is looking exactly like the same issue that has been reported by other PayPal users and it appears to be an issue where PayPal is removing some of the information sent back to your site. So that’s why only some of the registrations aren’t getting updated correctly. It may be that PayPal will fix this at their end, or if not, the Event Espresso PayPal Gateway will need to be adapted to have a fallback in case PayPal removes some of the payment info from the Notification listener URL.
