Default ticket qty

I’m running WordPress version 4.9.6 and Event Espresso Version 4.9.62.p
The website is http://www.copadehk.com

When using a mobile phone to navigate to the page:
http://www.copadehk.com/waiter-guard/

Users do not see that they need to select number of tickets and the ticket quantity is defaulted at 0. Is there any way we can change the default ticket quantity to 1?

Just quickly did a forum search and found out the setting can be changed in “Advance Settings” in the ticket settings, inside the event page. Setting the minimum ticket to 1.

Sorry, I tried it under “incognito mode”, it does not show the default to 1.

I think it showed 1 last time because I selected it before.

Any help is appreciated, thanks!

Hi there,

Just quickly did a forum search and found out the setting can be changed in “Advance Settings” in the ticket settings, inside the event page. Setting the minimum ticket to 1.

This actually does very little currently as EE will always default the ticket selection to 0, so a min ticket qty of 1, means the ticket selection will show 0 then 1,2,3,(up to max tkt qty)

A min ticket qty of 2 would show 0,2,3,4 (up to max) etc.

As it stands, to set a ticket to default to 1 you would need to set the ticket to be required (Advanced settings in the ticket and click the checkbox to show the ticket is required)

However that also means the user can not remove the ticket from the cart, so will that work for you?
