Hi
I hope I’m not being very silly, but I can’t seem to see/understand what the feature difference between EE4 and EE4 Decaf is?
Testing Decaf, the plugin looks pretty powerful and could probably fulfill my needs but I’m trying to understand the differences before I buy.
I understand the differences between EE3 vs EE4. Just confused between EE4 and EE4 Decaf.

Hi Theo,
EE4 Decaf has some of the core functions from EE4 Regular, but the full version has more features. For example if you want to ask custom question groups within your registrations you’ll need EE4 Regular. EE4 Decaf is not compatible some of the add-on’s we have available, so if you need the additional functionality of those add-ons you’ll need EE4 Regular.
Basically EE4 Decaf is a stripped down version of Regular, it provides functionality you can use for basic events, but if you need more features or have more advanced pricing structure needs, you’ll need EE4 Regular.
If you want to compare the two you can see the full version of EE4 by registering to Test Drive Event Espresso 4, that way you can see the differences between the two live 🙂
