Hello
I can’t activate decaf plugin 4.7.12.decaf on ee 4.8.13.p.
i get following error:
Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error.
Fatal error: Cannot redeclare espresso_duplicate_plugin_error() (previously declared in /home/iai/public_html/wp-content/plugins/event-espresso-core-reg/espresso.php:153) in /home/iai/public_html/wp-content/plugins/event-espresso-decaf/espresso.php on line 157

It turns out that Decaf should not be attempted to be activated if you already have 4.8.13.p. installed. EE4.8.13.p can only function if decaf is not installed.

Have i understood right, that decaf is event management add-on that makes event management easier than it is now? Will you improve compatibility?

Hi there,
Event Espresso Decaf is not an add-on, it is basic version of Event Espresso 4 that does not include the additional features of EE4 Regular.
This means that EE4 and EE4 Decaf are actually the same thing, only one has more features than the other (the regular version has more features than Decaf) so you would not install both of those at the same time.
