I am working on putting together a series of events and wanted to see if I am understanding the best way to structure the events in EE4. We have an event that occurs about 7 times/year and each time they are exactly the same, just on different dates. For each event there are about 24 timeslots that people can sign up for (aka tickets labeled with their own timeslot). For example, if the event is on May 1st then there is a ticket for 8:00am, a ticket for 8:15am, a ticket for 8:30am, etc.
So, I was creating each event day as a separate event listing with tickets that are labeled ‘8:00am’, ‘8:15am’, ‘8:30am’, etc.with a limit of 1 per ticket type/name.
I had also experimented with creating a general event and then listing the individual dates as datetimes (May 1, July 1, etc.) and assigning specific tickets to each datetime. However, that creates an ‘event’ with over a hundred tickets so I am assuming that this is not the best way to proceed.
Is there a better way to set these up that I am just not thinking of? Is the solution clearer than I am seeing?

That’s a correct assumption.
A better way to set these up would be to do a separate event for each of the 7 dates. The event can be copied, then the dates adjusted for each event listing.
Thanks Josh! I just wanted to make sure I wasn’t misunderstanding the way the system should be used.
Thank you for the confirmation!
