Date time issue 8pm extending event to two days

This is an odd one…

The event is from November 7, 2018, 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm but is displaying as

November 7, 2018 – November 8, 2018
6:00 pm – 8:00 pm

I’ve tested it so that if I select 7:30pm as the end time, the second date is removed, but if it is set to 8pm it extends it to Nov 8th

Was there any update near date/times recently that may have caused this error? It doesn’t seem to display on the event detail page but only on the event category template.

Any insight will be helpful. Thanks!

Hi,

There haven’t been any updates for the date/time functions in over a year. May I ask is there a custom template being used to display the event category archives? If so does that template call a function other than espresso_list_of_event_dates()?

Thanks for the reply Josh – I figured it out. We have a custom template and in there we have a function that converts the time to EST. We were only outputting the time with this conversion, and not the date.
