Hi, im looking to include a D.O.B question in the signup form and there appears to be no current question type for this, ive seen somewhere it might be implemented in the near future? is this correct and if so how soon will it be added?

That will be in Event Espresso 3.2. There’s a chance it might get implemented sooner, but for now I would recommend using a text question type.

No idea at this moment in time.
I was thinking about this the other day, and it might work out okay to have a date input set up as a set of dropdowns or a combination of dropdowns for months + days and text input for year. Here are a few examples of what this might look like:

just of personal opinion the 3 dropdowns seems to be more the standard

The date picker in 3.2 will have a month and year selector side by side with a calendar for picking the date below. So it sort of combines the two.
