I would like the tickets to be used as badges. That is the logo, attendee’s name, company, title appear in such a way that the ticket can be cut on and inserted into a standard badge holder. It looks like you can select different templates for badges, but I have done several searches and can find no instruction on how to create or modify a template. Any direction you can point me to find that out? This must not be the first time someone wanted to use a badge format. Possibly you already have a preexisting template?
Also, the “Download PDF” button on badges is not working in Safari (MAc). I get an error message about Acrobat or a blank page. Seems to work in Chrome or Firefox.
Whew! I finally found the wiki page on how to customize a ticket. You guys really need to improve your search engine. Searching under “Custom Ticket” on both the documentation and forum page, the link to this page is not found at least not easily. Wouldn’t you save your tech support a lot of time if this link was first on the page?
My question re: Safari and Download PDF still stands. ANy idea why that is not working?
And now that I can customize the ticket template, I have another question. How do I enter shortcode for a custom question. I ask the attendees company name and title and want that on the ticket/badge too.
The questions and answers can be output on the ticket with shortcodes like this:
lets say you have a custom question “What was your first pet?” and the answer the user gave was “Fido”
Then in the event ticket, you would use the shortcode
