Hi,

Whats the best way to customize the files in Espresso_Arabica_2014? i’ve found another support ticket about this but that didn’t work.

Below you will find some specs about the website
Theme: X theme (Latest version)
Plugin:
– Event Espresso
– Event Espresso – iDeal Mollie Gateway (EE 4.6.15+)
– Event Espresso – Ticketing (EE 4+)
– Event Espresso – WP Users (EE4.6+)

Thanks!

Kind regards,
Demi

One more thing. We really need to add a Recurring event? Whats the best way to get this done?

Thanks!

Hi Demi,

The Espresso_Arabica_2014 files are basically a child theme for TwentyFourteen and are provided as an example of how to output the details. X Theme works a little differently than 2014 does so those files won’t work out the box.

Can you let me know what it is your looking for change?

One more thing. We really need to add a Recurring event? Whats the best way to get this done?

EE4 does not currently support recurring events, they can be doe but you need to mnaully create each instance of the event.

You can create a single event as your ‘base’ and then duplicate that event, each time altering the title, permalink and dates in use in the new duplicate to create a series.

Hi,

I would like to add the number of tickets left with a link to a page with the list of people who have already subscribed and the price for the ticket. This needs to be added to the Single pages & the Events created with the Shortcodes.

Ok the recurring events aren’t that important.

One other question: Is it possible to make grouped products. So we got like 10 events that people can register for. But there also should be a button to register for all 10 events… any idea how to do this?

Thanks!

I would like to add the number of tickets left with a link to a page with the list of people who have already subscribed and the price for the ticket. This needs to be added to the Single pages & the Events created with the Shortcodes.

To add a link within the page you could just use on of the hooks EE already has available. For example the ‘AHEE_event_details_after_the_content’ hooks is fired just after the event details are output to the page.

It depends where you want to output the link as to which hook you use, however if you use the Debug Bar plugin along with the Actions and Filters add-on you can then load an EE event page to view all of the hooks fire on that page.

Do you have a shortcode for the additional page to display the registrations?

How are you passing over the event details to that page to display the registrations?

One other question: Is it possible to make grouped products. So we got like 10 events that people can register for. But there also should be a button to register for all 10 events… any idea how to do this?

Are those separate, individual events?

You can create a ticket that applies to multiple datetimes within an event, but not a ticket that applies to different events.

Do you have a link I can use to view the events?
