Is there a way to limit the amount of text that appears in the calendar popover? we are using EE to register students for classes and our descriptions can be a bit long and sometimes contain instructor information. This causes the popover to extend off the top of the page. Can I just tell it to limit the text to the first 300 or so characters?
I spent some time in trying to find the answer in the support forum but there is almost too much information and I couldn’t see that someone else asked the same thing.

Hi there,
If you set the excerpt on the event the calendar will use that, or if you add the ‘Read more’ tag to your events description the calendar will then step at that tag – http://take.ms/WLmAV
It is also possible to limit the description via code, are you comfortable with PHP?
