Customize Stripe Payment Form

Hi-

This might be a job too big for me but I’d like to customize the Stripe Payment form used in EE4 to include verification for zipcode as well as CSV number.

Also is there a way to include the a coupon input field for coupons created in Stripe? I was hoping this would be a workaround to the delay of EE4 coupons for events (and I’m going live in a couple of days and am using discount promotions).

Thanks in advance

M

I’m doing some digging around and it seems I should be getting more on the stripe payment form than I am.

I’m only getting fields to enter in CC#, date of expiration and CSV…is this because I have Stripe in test mode?

Sorry for my ignorance.

I want to have fields included for cardholder name and coupon…also I’m getting the old email address I registered stripe with on the form….is this a stripe issue? Its irritating that I would have to make another stripe account to get rid of this.

I’m not a coder as is evident but I can work my way through code if given direction. I’m under the gun to get our site launched…please help.

Hi Michael, the checkout form layout was developed by Stripe:

https://stripe.com/docs/checkout

During checkout, it is loaded from a secure Stripe server.

I’ll create an enhancement ticket for the zip code validation.

Thanks Lorenzo! Sorry for the dup post.

Is there a way to customize that form on our end or does the form reside on a stripe server you maintain(it wasnt clear from your response).

Thanks

Hi Michael, that form can’t be customized in terms of changing templates. It comes from Stripe. I requested that we add the zip code validation and that will change the form to show the zip code field.

However, that change isn’t from us editing the form via a templates, its done through a parameter setting.

Thanks for clarifying this Lorenzo and asking for the form change.
