Hi, is there a way to customize the labels used by EE? For example rename event to courses or venue to location? Thanks, Frank

Hi there,

It is possible yes, the easiest way to do it is by translating the string used. There isn’t a way to simply translate ‘venue’ to ‘location’ in a single step across all sections of the site.

Changing the ‘/events/’ slug can be done within the admin: https://eventespresso.com/wiki/change-events-cpt-slug/

But the labels used throughout will each need to be manually translated using something like POEdit and the translation files from our GlotPress Project:

Hi Tony, thanks for the info, will check it out. We’re new to EE, is there a place to enter a feature request? Some competitor products have this functionality built in. I think it would allow more flexibility when using EE4 in different use cases.
