Customizable reports?

We are hoping to use Event Espresso for our conferences, but have now discovered that there isn’t much as far as customizable reports. For example, we have separately purchased workshops. We would like to be able to give a link (or in worst case, generate ourselves) reports of registrations for those workshops — on demand for the workshop leaders. Also, it seems difficult to find how many people clicked a questions on the form (eg how many people clicked: “I am going to the dinner”). I figure we can get that from the excel sheets, but it seems pretty old-school.

Hi there,

We would like to be able to give a link (or in worst case, generate ourselves) reports of registrations for those workshops — on demand for the workshop leaders.

EE was designed with the expectation that the event manager would have access to the admin to manage their event, meaning they can output the registration CSV report themselves and you can limit their access using capabilities on their account.

To get a report of registration you go to Event Espresso -> Events -> {hover over event name} -> Registrations.

You’ll see a registration CSV button below the list of registrations to create a report, you can customize that report but to do so you need to add code to your site and we have examples here:

https://github.com/eventespresso/ee-code-snippet-library/tree/master/admin/registration-reports/core

Also, it seems difficult to find how many people clicked a questions on the form (eg how many people clicked: “I am going to the dinner”). I figure we can get that from the excel sheets, but it seems pretty old-school.

This isn’t something we have available at this time.

One of our developers did create a proof of concept for this kind of reporting addon for another user which is available here:

https://github.com/eventespresso/eea-registration-answers

However, note that although it may well get you the details you need, it is not a ‘product’ from EE and is unsupported.
