I have read tickets for events for kids. The registrant is the parent. I have ticket question that ask for the childs name. This works fine. When using the ticket add-on how do I define the ticket each child if there is more than one. I know how to use the shortcode [PRIMARY_REGISTRANT_ANSWER_* Child’ First Name] but dose this work for multiple kids. When i used this on other forms if placed in the main content are I only get 1 child. I have had to put it in one of the boxes below it. However for the ticket is does not have the shortcode in the other boxes ie:[DATETIME_LIST] *:
The ‘Primary Registrant’ classed as the ‘first’ user that enters their details. Strictly speaking its not the first user as you could move the details around using CSS but by default it’s the registration details requested at the top of the registration page.
This means that when you create a group registration (selecting more than one ticket) the user at the top is classed as the Primary Registrant and any shortcode specifically requesting PRIMARY_REGISTRANT details pull the details from that registration, so:
[PRIMARY_REGISTRANT_ANSWER_* Child’ First Name]
Will always pull in the answer to “Child’s First Name” from that first registration in the group, regardless of where you use it.
So within the ticket if you cant to output details that are specific for the registration the ticket is for, use:
[RECIPIENT_ANSWER_*Child's First Name]
(A the Primary Registrant is still classed as a recipient so this works for all)
