How does the Customer ID field get stuffed in an authorize.net transaction? Right now it appears to be an incrementing number. I would like for it to be something a bit more applicable (customer name or something similar). How could I go about this?

This post is somewhat similar to what I am asking for:

Thanks

Diane

Hi Diane,

Currently its not possible to change the customer_id sent to Auth.net

Which auth.net payment method are you using? (SIM or AIM) Using EE3 or EE4?

We use AIM on EE4

On that version the customer ID is the Primary Registrant ID, it is currently not possible to change that field without using a custom payment method to replace the original AIM PM.
