At this moment, EE4 does not have a system in place for managing user accounts like that. EE3 does, with the WP User Integration addon. We are looking to port that addon over to EE4, though I cannot provide a timescale for that.
Thanks for your quick reply Dean.
Allright, so this is only available for EE3. So is there a front-end page available where they also see their past events? Is there maybe a screenshot available for that? And do they come back in the standard WP admin dashboard is this integrated in a special frontend template?
The system is actually available in the back end in the profile section, the above screenshot is when you use the my events shortcode on a post/page.
EE and WP User Integration do NOT create or manage site users. The plugins will only record events for a user if they have logged in before they register (though the WP User integration addon can block event registration for non logged in users).
Here’s the documentation for WP User Integration https://eventespresso.com/wiki/wp-user-integration/ I would recommend reading through it to get an idea for the capabilities and to make sure it fits your business needs.
Let me know if you have any questions.
