Hello there EE-team,
i have a short presale question. Hope you can help.
I want to use Event Espresso for a customer who wants to sell tickets online for bustours.
Question: Is it possible to create custom ticket numbers for each ticket and display them on the printed and mobile version of the ticket? Could the custom number be generated by EE using the day of purchase + number of persons + price of ticket for example?

Yes this can be done but will require using a filter function to achieve it.

By saying filter function you mean adding a filter to the functions.php?
If so – is there some code already somwewhere, which i could use?

This is for EE3 (EE4 doesn’t support tickets currently).
