I just updated to the latest version this morning (3.1.27.P). I created a new template and uploaded it to the template directory (/wp-content/plugins/espresso-ticketing/templates/) and added a new ticket template in the admin by selecting the new template. However, the template used is always index.php. Any ideas?

Hi David,

The best way to use the custom templates is like this:

In the espresso uploads directory create a new directory called tickets.

In that folder create a directory called templates.

From the add on template folder copy the index.php file to the uploads/tickets/templates directory.

You can then add the new templates there and they will show in the dashboard.

Just curious as to why that would work better than what I described in the original post?

Hi,

The reason being, is when the plugin is updated if the template files are not in the uploads folder they will be overwritten, so any modifications should not be done in the core files if it can be helped.

Try it that way and see if it resolves the problem. If not let me know.
