From there, I tried changing the To: field in the “Email Payment Received Template” to the following which did not work.
[RECIPIENT_ANSWER_* Billing Email]
Additionally, I’d like to include the “Billing Name” field in the body of the email. Right now, I have the following but given the above, I am unsure if it will work without some change the formatting.
[RECIPIENT_ANSWER_* Billing Name]
I got the Billing Email to work. It is case sensitive and I missed that. I have the case correct for the [RECIPIENT_ANSWER_* Billing Name] but that isn’t pulling over the name when I submit it.
Am I able to use the same [RECIPIENT_ANSWER_* Whateverthefieldnameis] in the body or does it need a special configuration?
After the _* you need the ‘Question Text’ value of the question you are asking and it must match the question text value exactly check for additional spaces etc in the question text that don’t have set in the shortcode.
If your question text is Billing Name?, the shortcode would be:
[RECIPIENT_ANSWER_* Billing Name?]
Is ‘Billing Name’ a custom question on your registration form?
Can you link me to an event I can view the registration form of?
It depends on the context of the message. If the email is going to the event admin, then you can use [PRIMARY_REGISTRANT_ANSWER_*Name of question field]
