If you have a custom Question and you want that custom question answer shows up in the invoice, you have to use the shorcode available.
You can see that by going to Message -> select the message you want to edit -> In the upper most part of the screen you will see “Help” then click message shortcode.
This is a special dynamic shortcode. After the “*”, add the exact text of an existing question, and if there is an answer for that question for this primary registrant, then it will be output in place of this shortcode.
