Dear Support

See: https://share.vidyard.com/watch/fdH2f5w2KcAUUygywTYNWK?

I test 4 other events this morning and the emails worked just fine. This one I’m not getting all the info. Please help.

Hi Greg,

That’s definitely strange. Are you able to send a test email to yourself (under Extra Actions) to see if any of the information appears? If you check the Message Activity tab, do any of those emails have the missing information?

I found it… I did the test and yes the test email did not give any other info:

I created another custom email for that event and it worked. I deleted the one that was not working

Hi there,

I know you’ve figured this out now but I just wanted to let you know what I think is happening in your original email template.

The ‘sections’ within the message templates are all ‘called’ from somewhere within the ‘Main Content’ section of the template and in your custom template the [EVENT_LIST] shortcode had been removed, see:

https://monosnap.com/file/RAegkgAyjnH2OqTU5xMvQcadSQnfPy

So the email you received was actually ‘correct’ in that Main content is the actual content of the email which then that calls various sections using the shortcodes (which you didn’t have in that template).

So [EVENT_LIST] calls the EVENT_LIST section which loops through all of the events linked to the registration and it calls more shortcodes, which may or may not call other sections from within the template, which may call other shortcodes and so on.

The majority of your content all starts from EVENT_LIST, which wasn’t being called.
