Does EE use custom post types? I am now using the lite version and would like to know if the pro version will be using custom post types.

Also, what plugin are you using for the user account page on this site? Looks nice and was just curious. 😉

thanks

Hello KO,

Yes, EE uses custom post types (more info).

We use the s2member plugin for our user accounts on eventespresso.com.

Let us know if you have anymore questions.

Thanks for the prompt response.

I saw the page you referred to, but does EE use the standard WP admin interface to create posts?

Hi K O,

I should clarify that the paid version Event Espresso can display events as custom post types if you activate the custom post type option. The core event data is not stored in the database as custom post types. The CPT feature makes it easier to customize the event lists and registration page for those who are familiar with working CPT templates.

With the CPT feature, Is it possible to integrate with CubePoints? What I wanted to do is to use the paid content module of CubePoints to allow users with certain number of points to view events.

Hello KO,

We have never used this software so we cannot advise if it will be possible to integrate the two together.
