Greetings!

The custom meta fields in the editor are escaping any quote marks I add to the fields. Sometimes I need to do this. Sometimes the data in the custom meta field needs to have an href or something in it. Is there a way to stop this from happening?

Hi Christian,

What version of Event Espresso are you suing?

Hi,

I would update your Event Espresso, I tested the quotes marks in the latest version and it had no issues with being stripped out.

I just updated the plugin and I’m having the same result. Is there a setting somewhere that disables quotes or something?

Hi Christian,

You are absolutely right! I just looked at this again and yes they are being escaped, so my apologies on that.

We did some work a while back on quote marks in the titles etc so these must have been overlooked. I will get a developer ticket raised to look into.

Just updating this thread to let everyone know that Dean did indeed create a ticket for this.
