Custom Message Template – Subject line not showing customisation

HI

I have added a customized email message for registration confirmed and registration approved. However when it is automatically generated it only has workshop registration/confirmation and not the additional details. I have been using a similar format for several years with no issues – this is the first time the customization has not worked. Any advice?
thanks
Leisha

Hi Leisha,

What is the registration confirmed message? EE doesn’t have a ‘Registration Confirmed’ message type by default.

Where are you editing that message?

Can you post a screenshot of the page you are editing the details on?

Looks like your replies are being marks as spam so I’ve fixed those.

The above messages template is for the Event Admin, are you wanting to edit the ‘registrants’ message?

Have you assigned that custom message template to the event you are testing?

HI Tony
I have used the same subject line for both the event admin and the primary admin – on both emails it only comes up with “workshop Registration” in the subject line and not the rest of the customisation.

I have assigned it to the event and only realised there was an issue once registrations came in without the customized workshop name in the subject line.

I have been using the same system for all my workshop for the past few years – this is the only one it has not worked for.???

ideas?

Event admin and primary admin?

I think you mean Event Admin and Primary Registrant but unless you’ve changed which contexts are sending the primary registrant context isn’t sent by default.

Can you post a screenshot of all 3 of the contexts for that custom message type, please?
