My events are courses with an instructor and a small number of attendees. I need to send reminder and feedback emails to all registrants of a particular event. For that, I needed to create custom messages and send them to all attendees. But the instructor should also receive a copy of the message. How can I do that, since there’s no ‘Addressee’ field?

Hi there,
One way to do this would be to add the instructor to the registration list for that class via the admin.

I’m disappointed that you don’t take your clients’ reasonable requests seriously. When I send out those custom messages, I’m in the data-space of a particular event and the author/instructor’s name is surely also present in that data-space. Whey can’t I reference it through a short code in the ‘To:’ field?

This is actually very serious: The reason you can’t reference it through a shortcode in the To: field is because if you did, the instructor would get a duplicate email for every registration reminder and feedback email sent. I’m quite certain you don’t want that to happen.
