Custom loop showing event list, with expired date being the start date?

Hi!
I’ve made a custom event list loop to show a list of upcoming events on the homepage. It’s sorting by the start date of the event, with show_expired=false. Which is all working great. However, most my events are 3 weeks long. I want them to be excluded from the list after the start date. For example:
Event1, starts Jan. 20, goes through Feb. 10.
On Jan. 20, I would like it to stop showing up in the main event list.

So basically, I need some kind of command like show_expired=false, but that expires at the start date. Any ideas? Many thanks!
j.

Hello Jason,

If you set the registration to expire on the event start date, the event should drop off of the list once it reaches that date. Is that not happening?

Yes – I didn’t want to do that intially because elsewhere I liked the event still showing past the start date. But after thinking it over, that seems to work ok.

My much bigger issue now is the other forum post I made last night. About switching the formatting from event_list_display to a different event_list_display.
Thanks!
