When using ongoing_events_widget.php and ongoing_event_list.php to facilitate showing ongoing events.

I get these error messages:
Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /home/content/95/11116195/html/wp-content/uploads/espresso/templates/ongoing_event_list.php on line 89

Warning: preg_match() expects parameter 2 to be string, array given in /home/content/95/11116195/html/wp-includes/wp-db.php on line 1215

The errors are corrected when I remove the template files from /uploads/espresso/ templates directory.

How do you use ongoing_events_widget.php and ongoing_event_list.php does it give any added functionality?

Hi,

Where does the error show?

I assume you have uncommented the lines in the custom_includes.php file referring to these two files?

I haven’t myself seen this error come up, but it is possible there is an issue with them, as they are becoming legacy files as they are very underused and to my knowledge do not provide anything that the standard event list doesn’t give.
