Custom Email Template not using chosen template

Hello –

I have followed the steps to create the custom email template within my event. I create the event, choose at the bottom of that page Notifications > Email > choose Template in Use and Created a new Custom one > Edit that one and then save everything. I have done this for Registration Pending Payment.

However, when we register for the event, the email response we receive looks nothing like any of the templates that are even in the system. Meaning Event Espresso > Messages > filtered to Emails on Default Message Templates and Custom Message Templates.

Am I missing something? Please help!

Hi Carrie,

Are you sure you’re looking at the emails for the context of the event admin or the context of the registrant(s)? Are there custom templates for each of the contexts?
