You can add those to a custom functions plugin on your site, we have some documentation on creating one here:

Or if using a child theme, you can add them to your child theme’s functions.php if preferred.

Creating a custom functions plugin to add snippets to is not as scary as it looks if you follow the steps in the doc.

However, we do always recommend you have FTP access when editing files just to be safe, if you do make a mistake you need to remove the plugin from the server and for that, you’ll need FTP access.
