Currency Change Issue (ee4 4.4.3.p)

I have change the settings to GBP £ in General Settings page and Countries tab but the currency is still showing as $ USD in new tickets.

Any thoughts on a whats happening ?

Hi Mike,

The countries tab (General settings) allows you to enable or disable countries that are used in various areas of Event Espresso (e.g. registration form, venues address).

You’ll also need to ensure that your organization is set to your local country.

Could you double-check both of these?

Both are set to United Kingdom with GBP & £ as currency.

Still showing $ USD on front end tickets.

I took a look at your site, but it was in event maintenance mode. Is it possible to temporarily make it live so I can check it from the front end?

Thanks Mike,

You’re running a caching program, can you try clearing that cache? You will likely need to clear your browser cache as well.

Right, here’s the fix. We are running with W3 Total Cache, so deactivated that plugin, saved all our EE4 settings again, then reactivated the W3 plugin.

All is fine now…

Hi Mike,

When using a caching plugin you’ll also need to set EE critical pages not to cache. A lot of the content within Event Espresso is dynamically created within the same pages, if these pages have been cached it causes multiple problems with the registrations (Security errors not allowing users to register for example).

To set these pages not to cache you can follow the guide posted here:
