CSV Report Not Downloading

Since moving to Kinsta last week, the CSV Report does not download. Just loads a page like this csv in all browsers.

Report does downloads fine if I add define(‘EE_USE_OLD_CSV_REPORT_CLASS’, true); to the config file, but then the report does not include the transaction promotions column.

Any ideas?

Hi there,

That’s going to be the MIME types set up on the server, in short the server is sending the CSV HTML/TEXT so the browser simply displays it.

If you open a ticket with Kinsta and ask them to add this mime type to the server:

application/ms-excel .csv

Or this may also work:

text/csv csv;

Does the file then download?
