When you’re on the Events admin listings screen, under the Green People icon it shows the number of registrations approved for each event.
When you click the link to show the approved registrants, the screen actually shows you ALL registrations, not just the approved ones.
There’s a kind of user experience disconnect when you click on a registrant number that says “20” and you get to a screen that shows 25 registrations.
Now, we realized that on the registrations listings page you can filter it to show only the approved registrations, so maybe that user experience disconnect isn’t all that important – in other words, maybe it isn’t that crucial to show a filtered view of registrations based on coming from an “approved registrations” link.
However, the important disconnect for us happens when you click the Export CSV button while in the filtered view mode. The CSV actually gives you ALL registrations and not just the ones you filtered on. That definitely gets confusing because we want to send out that CSV as a kind of report, but now we have to manually go into Excel and get rid of all non-approved registrations.
Is it possible in future upgrades to have the export send only the fitered information?
I wanted to let you know that a new “Filtered CSV Report” button was added to Event Espresso version 4.9.24.p. This new button will start a report that uses the filters on the admin registration list table. You can use this new feature to do a filtered report such as registrations that have a specific Registration status.
