Hi, we have a problem when downloading the cvs report. It gives a blank page in all browsers. If you try to download the complete csv but also if you try to download it per event. Even if there are only 10 attendees. On my testing site, the downloads work properly.
System information:

WordPress Versie:
4.4
PHP Versie:
5.3.3
MySQL Versie:
5.0.83
Event Espresso Version:
4.8.27.p

Can you please help?

Kind regards,
Sya

Hi Sya,

A completely blank page? If so it sounds like there is a fatal error being thrown.

Can you enable WP_DEBUG on the site and re-run an export.

You should see an error shown on the page, please post that here.

I get this message. It’s Dutch but I guess you will recognize it: [04-Jan-2016 14:06:00] PHP Notice:

De aangeroepen constructor methode voor WP_Widget is verouderd sinds versie 4.3.0! Gebruik

__construct()

in plaats daarvan. in /var/www/vhosts/49/105023/webspace/httpdocs/congressenmetzorg.nl/wp-includes/functions.php on line 3619

[04-Jan-2016 14:06:01] PHP Notice: Undefined variable: site_link in /var/www/vhosts/49/105023/webspace/httpdocs/congressenmetzorg.nl/wp-content/themes/evento/footer.php on line 27

Updated all plugins. I can’t imagine that my theme’s footer is causing this.
Again: it works on my testing site om a different server.

Kind regards,
Sya

The page doesn’t turn completely blank. My WordPress admin is still visible. Only the content has gone and turned blank instead of downloading the cvs report.

Hi Sya,

Could you make these changes?

1) Please backup your site and update to the latest version of Event Espresso 4:

https://eventespresso.com/wiki/ee4-changelog/

There were some additional enhancements to the new batch registration CSV reporting system.

2) PHP 5.3.x is an older version of PHP. Please ask your web host to switch you to a current version of PHP (e.g. PHP 5.4 and up).

If the steps above do not help, then you can switch back to the old CSV reporting system by following the steps in this link:

For now I have used the last method and that worked. My client needs this cvs tomorrow. Later on I will update and ask the hosting provider to upgrade.

KInd regards,
Sya

With updating EE4 to the latest version (4.8.30.p), the problem was solved. CSV downloads are working as the should. In the mean time, the workaround worked just fine as well. Tnx for the help!
