Hi, today I updated the Event Espresso plugin and now we are getting a Critical Error on our website. I was able to get the site working by renaming the EE core plugin folder (disabling the plugin) however when I Enable it again I get the critical error. I’ve tried re-installing the EE 5.0.30p plugin (same version that we have on the site) and replacing files with the uploaded files, but it does the same Critical Error on the front end and on the Admin, so I have to go in and rename the plugin folder again to disable it again to get the site back online. Here is the error from the logs: AH01071: Got error ‘PHP message: PHP Fatal error: Type of EventEspresso\\WpUser\\domain\\entities\\routing\\EspressoEventEditor::$data_node must be ?EventEspresso\\core\\services\\json\\JsonDataNode (as in class EventEspresso\\core\\services\\routing\\Route) in /var/www/vhosts/gomsa.net/httpdocs/wp-content/plugins/eea-wp-user-integration/domain/entities/routing/EspressoEventEditor.php on line 17’, referer: https://www.gomsa.net/ Any suggestions to fix this? Thank you for your help! |

I can confirm I received this same problem on my site. I have also created a ticket. |

Ok two things – first, I shared our WP health info details in a private reply on this thread. Second, I was able to re-enable our EE plugin by disabling the “Event Espresso – WordPress Users Integration (EE4.6+)” plugin. But of course this is not a solution as we do use EE with Paid Memberships Pro and our members (users) get discounts to upcoming association meetings depending on their membership level etc. So we do need to get this working again asap and I would rather not restore a backup. Thank you again for help. |

Hi there, We’ve been investigating this and have pushed a fix for the WP User integration add-on to prevent the fatal. You’ll need to update to the latest version of the add-on which you’ll find in your account page. Download 2.1.3.p of the User Integration add-on and go to Dashboard -> Plugins -> Add new -> Upload plugin. Select the .zip file you just download and upload, if WordPress tells you there is a version already installed and asks if you want to replace it, do so. Activating that version of the add-on should prevent the above error. |

Thank you, that worked! Note that I did get the “This Plugin is already installed” message with the option to Overwrite the existing plugin (which I did). Thanks again for the quick fix on this. |

Awesome, thank you for letting me know the update fixed it. Any further issues just let me know. |
