Critical: Authorize.net not working

We just realized Authorize.net stopped working.
No changes have been made other than upgrade to 3.1.28.1.
Here is the error:
Attention: your transaction was declined for the following reason(s):
The credit card number is invalid.
Response Code: 3
Response Subcode: 1

Also, why is there now an “authorize.net” logo showing to be chosen for credit card processing? This is confusing to customers. How would they know this is credit card processing?

you may close this. I don’t know what the issue was but after resetting transaction keys it is working again. thanks.

Okay, thanks for letting us know. With the other issue, we have changed the look of the payment page. In some cases, it’s set up to have multiple payment options, so we’ve added the buttons to accommodate this. You can change the authnet button from the authnet logo and use a more generic “pay by credit card image”. There’s a setting with an image uploader in the authnet payment settings in Event Espresso>Payments.

Thanks Josh. I don’t see an image uploader option under the Authorize.net AIM option…not an emergency. I’ll follow up on a less busy day for you.

Oh yeah. The auth SIM setting has this, but not AIM, so I was wrong. We should add an option to customize this. For now, you could swap out the image file in the payment gateway folder.
