Hi Guys,
Occasionally, my customers get confused about paying with credit cards and I’d like to give them more help. I have paypal standard selected.
When it comes time to pay, they are presented with two choices,
Invoice, or Paypal
It would be better if there were three choices.
Invoice, Paypal, Credit cards.

You and I know that credit cards can be processed through PayPal without a paypal account, but many people are confused about this.

I have changed the image to show Paypal with credit cards even now with a message on the image PayPal payment image
But is very small. Can I increase this image size?

How can I add more prompting to edit the text “Please Select Your Method of Payment”

Best option would be to have a separate option for Credit card.
Have a corresponding PayPal page just for Credit Card payments, to take away the confusion about having a Paypal account.

Thanks

Hello,

You are off to a good start with the changes though this is not entirely true:

You and I know that credit cards can be processed through PayPal without a paypal account, but many people are confused about this.

Guest checkout (e.g. no PayPal account required) is only available to merchants in some countries.

This CSS will increase the size of the payment buttons:

#spco-available-methods-of-payment-dv img.spco-payment-method-btn-img { min-width: 175px; }

Increase or decrease as needed and it can be added to your site through a free plugin like Simple Custom CSS or Reaktiv CSS Builder. If your theme has a built-in custom CSS, then you can use that instead.

Here is an example of how to increase the font size for the please select messaging:

h4#method-of-payment-hdr { font-size: large; }

Again, it can be added to your site through one of the methods mentioned above.

A payment image is used for each payment option. If you are needing three options, then you would need a third payment option such as Braintree which will let you accept credit and debit cards on your site.
