Creating New Event Type – Category Question

Hi,

I’m starting to sell a new type of training. I’ve traditionally created categories to allow me to split up all my courses. How would I now create a new type of training option but also use the same Geographic categories. Would I create two categories and select that in the event? Or would I just set this event as one of the geographic categories and use another way to be able to create a page with all the events of that type on it? I’m basically needing to have a sort of all training of that type for navigation and a landing page.

Any help is appreciated…

Hi Joseph,

You can assign the event to two categories (one category for the training type, one category for the location).

Then for your landing page, you set the event list short code to filter for the new type of training category.
