Is there a quick way to create a view of a shopping cart that can be displayed in a template or shortcode?

You could add this URL to a sidebar as text or an image link

http://YOURSITE/?page_id=XXX&regevent_action=show_shopping_cart

YOURSITE = your wibsite url

XXX = the page ID for the Main Registration page (default is Event Registration). You can find this by going to Pages > All Pages and hovering you mouse over the page name. Depending on the browser, there should be a note appear at the bottom (example in Chrome) and where it says post=4 that number is the Page ID.
