Create ongoing Event

Hod do I create an ongoing event with no particular date such that this EE text “There are no upcoming dates for this event.” says “Ongoing”

There isn’t an easy way to do that yet in EE4. Since EE4 is a complete rewrite of the codebase, many of the features of EE3 need to be rewritten to make them work in EE4. The best that I can suggest is to make your event date in the event editor a date way out in the future, then copy plugins/EE4/templates/Espresso_Arabica_2014/content-espresso_events-datetimes.php over to uploads/espresso/templates. You could then modify it like so:
