Create New Custom Email Button not Working

Hello,

We updated to EE 5.19.

I am working on a new event and when I click the ‘Create New Custom’ Button. All that happens is the screen moves to the top of the page. It doesn’t a pop up box to name the new custom email like before.

I will record a Loom and show you what I mean.

Hi there,

I’ve tested the same with my local installation and cannot reproduce the issue, it seems to be working fine for me.

Can you please perform a troubleshooting as mentioned here to find any conflict:

Hi there,

Those 2 examples both already have a custom template assigned, is it only happening for those or does it still happen when you click on one of the message types that is currently set to global?

(Note I can’t reproduce this so I don’t think it is related to having a template already set, just helping troubleshoot)

If you open up Dev Tools within your browser when testing this does it show any errors in the console when you click the button?

Another thing..

When I click to edit a Formidable Form: https://snipboard.io/laBP6Z.jpg

I get a white screen with an EE note at the bottom: https://snipboard.io/A94Fqz.jpg

I tried to recreate this issue on our dev site but it works fine there. Both sites have the newest release of EE.

And I don’t have that ‘jumping up’ issue on the dev site either. So there is something particular about our production site.

Also we are still experiencing the post event email not sending out problem: https://eventespresso.com/topic/post-event-emails-not-sending/

I wonder, would these issues we are experiencing fall under priority support? https://eventespresso.com/product/premium-support-token/

We might just need your expert eyes to have a look at our site.
