Hi Kate, That’s an interesting point about the Custom Post Types. That’s one of the big changes coming to Event Espresso 4 where the events will be using CPTs. For the time being the Roles and Permissions Pro add-on has an option that lets you set it up so that those with the Event Manager Role can create events, but the events automatically get set to Draft status.
