Coupon Code plugin

I thinks it’s wrong that EE3 had the coupon code feature already with it and moving to EE4 you have to purchase the plugin separately. I have the developers license for EE3 but now I have to buy the license for the coupon code for each of our sites to upgrade to EE4?

Thanks for your feedback.

The promo code system in EE3 was fairly basic, and with EE4’s Promotions addon we have laid the groundwork for a much more robust and flexible promotions system.

Following our general roadmap in EE4 we are keeping the core plugin as lean as possible and major additional features will be added as addons, such as the promotions system.

This allows us to reduce plugin bloat for users that only have modest event registration needs.
