I noticed there are many posts about events overlapping each other on the calendar. I just saw that there is a new calendar version 2.0.5 in pre-release right now. Does this newest version resolve this issue?
Also, is there anyway to stop the first couple weeks of the next month from showing up on the current calendar view?
It depends on what the overlap is. If it’s the image overlap, no. If it’s a different overlap this may be resolved by turning on the themeroller option in Event Espresso>Template settings.
The jQuery FullCalendar plugin that the calendar is based on has a “weekMode” option that you can adjust to make it fixed (always displays 6 weeks), or liquid and variable (4,5,6 weeks depending on the month). When it’s set to liquid or variable it will display fewer weeks from the next month. It will still show events from the first few days of then next month, but stop after that.
If you look in the calendar plugin’s espresso-calendar.php file you’ll find this line that you can change to liquid or variable:
//Determines the number of weeks displayed in a month view. Also determines each week's height.
weekMode:'fixed', //Settings: http://arshaw.com/fullcalendar/docs/display/weekMode/
