Hi Paul,

Looking at your site we can see it is currently running EE3.1.27.

I just want to note that if you are planning on updating to EE4, you’ll need to first update the site to EE3.1.36+ (Latest currently is 3.1.36.5) as EE4 is expecting the database to be at that version. Also EE4 is not simply another update to EE3 but a vastly different system, so I would advise updating on a development server (either locally or another live cloned version of the site) first to check EE4 will work as expected with your theme/plugins etc.

I have reset your license key.

Please go to Event Espresso -> General Settings. Remove the license key (cut) and save the settings, replace the license key (paste) and save the settings once more. Be sure to check for any white space before/after the key when pasting.

Automatic updates should then work for EE3.

Tony thank you for your follow-up. I changed the license key however problem still persist.

There is a new version of Event Espresso available. View What’s New with version 3.1.36.5.P. You need a valid Site License Key to enable automatic upgrades. Your current membership level does not allow automatic upgrades on more than one domain. Please log into your account to manage your Site License Keys or purchase a support license now.

I thought we only have one domain, which is hrmagazine.com.hk.

That is the correct domain that is registered onto your account.

In this instance I would recommend manually updating EE3, we have a guide posted here:

https://eventespresso.com/wiki/updating-event-espresso/#update_manually

We have made some changes to the update engine since .27 which may be preventing this. Be sure to backup your site before doing so.

I just updated the version to the latest one manually, seems that everything is OK now, however I’m going to roam around to see if there’s anything else missing. In the meantime, thank you for your help!

Hi Paul,

The EE3 Personal License does not include the MailChimp Integration add-on, did you purchase it separately?

I will also ask our sales team to look into this.

Hi Tony,

Yes we purchased it separately, I believe not at the same time as we purchased EE3. Thanks.
