We attempted to manually update our plugin from version 4.6 to version 4.8 because we were unable to add an event title or description when creating an event. Once we manually updated the plugin, our existing database information was disconnected from the plugin and we received the following errors:

In order to import all of your existing Event Espresso data, the following 2 upgrade tasks need to be performed:

Core Data Migration to version 4.7.0
Core Data Migration to version 4.8.0

We would like to use the support token for you to update this core data migration.

Hello,

You are being prompted to migrate as you are moving from an older version of Event Espresso 4.6.x to the current platform which is Event Espresso 4.8.x.

When this happens, Event Espresso will enter maintenance mode and you’ll be prompted to migrate the data. Those are not errors as its asking you to migrate.

Could you go ahead and click to start the migration?

Once that is complete, then it will move out of maintenance mode.

Lorenzo
