Is there any way to contact the attendees to notify them of changes or updates to the event they have registered for ?

Hello,
If you don’t have batch message, you can enable them by following this.

1. Create a batch email template by going to EE dashboard -> Messages -> Batch

2. Go to your Registration list and select and send batch message.

3. You will then be able to select which message to send
