Hoi support,

I noticed the following two console errors on my clients website:

x Uncaught TypeError: Cannot set properties of undefined (setting ‘eejs’)
at eejs-core.c1e0cebdd6b75e1f4751.dist.js?
ver=c1e0cebdd6b75e1f47518e3fa423376e:1:7672
at eejs-core.c1e0cebdd6b75e1f4751.dist.js?
ver=c1e0cebdd6b75e1f47518e3fa423376e:1:7675

x Uncaught ReferenceError: eejs is not defined
at (index):1493:1

What can I (or you) do to fix this?

Marco

Hi Marco,

I’ve created a ticket for our developers to investigate this and added a note to update this thread with any feedback given.

Thank you for the offer.

However, I can reproduce this issue locally so currently we don’t need a link to the site.

Hi there!

Thanks for reaching out.
We were able to reproduce this issue in our local environment with the Event Espresso 4.10.29.p – but it’s not happening in the version available on our Github master branch: https://github.com/eventespresso/event-espresso-core which has the Event Espresso 4.10.30.rc.018 – since it was not released officially, I have sent the plugin zip to your Event Espresso account email (marco@…) which you will be able to delete the previous one and install the newest.

I also noticed you are using a WP Fastest Cache plugin since you have a combined/minified JavaScript file – it’s essential to remember that Event Espresso won’t work properly with caching plugins since we have almost of elements working dynamically. For this reason, we recommend you make sure to prevent the Event Espresso folder/and URLs from the cache.

Let me know if you have any further questions!

Hi Joao,

1) I’ve installed and activated v4.10.30.rc.018 you send me
2) I’ve deleted v4.10.29.p
3) I’ve disabled my caching plugin (WP Fastest Cache)
4) I’ve deleted all cache and minified files
5) I’ve deleted my browser’s cache

Result: the two console errors still exists:

Uncaught TypeError: Cannot set properties of undefined (setting ‘eejs’)
at eejs-core.c1e0cebdd6b75e1f4751.dist.js?ver=c1e0cebdd6b75e1f47518e3fa423376e:1:7672
at eejs-core.c1e0cebdd6b75e1f4751.dist.js?ver=c1e0cebdd6b75e1f47518e3fa423376e:1:7675
(index):1412 Uncaught ReferenceError: eejs is not defined
at (index):1412:1

Can you please further investigate? For now, I will keep the the caching of my website disabled so you can investigate the issue.

I hope to hear from you soon. Thanks.

Marco

Hi there!

Thanks for getting back to us!
We are still working on a fix for these console errors. Just know that it’s not breaking any crucial Event Espresso functionality.

We will let you know when we have more updates about it.
Thanks!

Hi there!

Thanks for waiting!
The Event Espresso 4.10.30 is released which should fix this console errors. You can check if the update is available on Dashboard > Plugins > Event Espresso – if not, just go to Event Espresso > General Settings > Save Settings to force it.

It also can be found under your Event Espresso account.

Let me know if it works!

Hi Joao,

Thanks for the info. I’ve just installed v4.10.30.p. I can confirm that the the two console errors don’t show up anymore. Where can I find the changelog of v4.10.30.p?
