Connection to PayPal / Empty Cart issues

Customers CANNOT purchase items when trying to process their transactions.

We have been having issues for the past few months of people who go to ad an event and the item is not in their cart. If logged into the site we can complete the purchase without the issue, but we do 10’s of transactions a day, so this can be quite troublesome for a user to not be able to use it correctly. I did research on this issue in the forums and it looks like some suggest caching as an issue we have checked with our hosting site and
• Verified there is no cache plugin on our website
• Verified that the host server is not performing any caching on the server’s end
• I went ahead and cleared our server’s PHP cache which by design does have a cache for processing not performance. Which is typical of all PHP hosted sites (which are in the millions).

Hi,

We received your request for priority support, but the FTP fields were not completed.

If you can resend the form and include sFTP information, we can go in and remove the object caching file. The trouble happening on your site is due to caching, and you do have a caching plugin located in the drop ins folder.

We’ll need sFTP access to remove that plugin.
