Hi guys.
A few days ago I upgraded to EE version 4.9.73.p and the Simple-Press forum stopped working.
I switched off every single plugin, the forum works perfectly with every single one BUT EE!
I need both plugins to work, could you please help me?

Hi,
I’ve got a Simple:Press forum working with no issues on a site that also has the current version of Event Espresso 4. May I ask do you have the current version of WordPress and Simple:Press too?
Also, can you check your site’s PHP error log? There may be an error logged there that would explain why your site’s forum is no longer working.

Josh, the conflict is with the Simple Press plugin “Editor TinyMCE Rich Text”.
I switched it off and everything is working fine now.

Hi,
May I ask are you using version 1 or version 2 of the TinyMCE Editor for SimplePress add-on?

I removed that version and installed the version 4. The website went completely blank! So I had to remove it.
Oh well… no TinyMCE Editor then…

Hi,
When the website goes completely blank that means there’s a fatal error, which could be caused by a number of things. You can get more details about the error by activating WP_DEBUG mode. The WordPress codex explains how to activate WP_DEBUG mode:

You could check with Simple Press support, as I can imagine that SP is a Simple Press function.
