After the wordpress 3.5 update and subsequent espresso update the event registration page is not directing from the event page to paypal to complete payment and registration.
* tried reinstalling everything
* tried disabling the other plugins
* tried switching to 2012 theme
* tried clearing cookies Other stuff:

Other stuff

  • Nothing has changed with the Business paypal account.
  • My main registration page is here: http://www.greengardensgroup.com/welcome/calendar/event-list even though it has the /event-list page slug, it has the [ESPRESSO_EVENTS] shortcode.
  • IPN seems to be set up properly I’m not sure what I’m missing. The site is http://www.greengardensgroup.com. The other important info below the picture. Any help would be appreciated!! Of course it’s an emergency as I’m trying to get paid for registrations for a conference I’m putting on and people are currently signing up for, but not paying. Thanks.

Hi there,

It looks like there are some old templates from a prior version of Event Espresso in the /wp-content/uploads/espresso/templates directory.

You can fix this by going to Event Espresso>Template settings and there will be a button near the bottom of that page that will rename that directory. Then the new version’s templates will be able to load, and you’ll see a nice improvement.

Thank you Josh for the support.

If anyone is following this thread and having the same issue, I did do as Josh recommended, clicking the button to rename the /wp-content/uploads/espresso/templates directory. After that I had to reinstall the templates from the latest release of event espresso in the event-espresso/templates folder. Then it worked perfectly.

Thanks again!
